INSTITUTIONAL PLACEMENT STANDARDS

The HSBHAPG
Placement Philosophy

HSBHAPG operates as a private, compatibility-based placement institution serving distinguished families who require behaviorally-informed, developmentally-aligned, and trauma-responsive household support. Our placement authority is not a formality — it is the foundation of every safe, sustainable, and clinically-sound placement we make.

⚜

PLACEMENT PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT

"HSBHAPG does not place caregivers. We create curated household support relationships — structured around the developmental needs of the child, the behavioral-health standards of our institution, the emotional dynamics of the family system, and the proprietary compatibility standards our placement directors have refined across years of private-family placement expertise."

Families who engage HSBHAPG are not purchasing a caregiver from a catalogue. They are retaining the institutional judgment, clinical evaluation expertise, and proprietary placement methodology of a specialized private-family support organization — one that assumes full responsibility for the suitability and continuity of every placement recommendation it issues.

PROPRIETARY METHODOLOGY

The Five-Stage Placement Process

01

HOUSEHOLD SUITABILITY REVIEW

Before any placement consideration begins, HSBHAPG conducts a comprehensive household suitability review. This encompasses the family's communication dynamic, caregiving philosophy, cultural household environment, lifestyle structure, and the specific developmental, behavioral, or emotional needs of each child in the home.

02

CHILD DEVELOPMENTAL PROFILE ASSESSMENT

Each child's behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental profile is carefully evaluated. Where applicable, trauma history, attachment needs, neurodevelopmental considerations, and emotional regulation requirements are assessed — ensuring that the placed professional is deeply aligned with each child's individualized care framework.

03

PROPRIETARY COMPATIBILITY EVALUATION

HSBHAPG applies its proprietary placement evaluation system to assess compatibility across dozens of qualitative and clinical factors. This includes caregiver communication style, nurturing approach, trauma-responsive competency, behavioral support methodology, household integration aptitude, and continuity-of-care suitability.

04

CURATED PLACEMENT DETERMINATION

Placement recommendations are issued exclusively by HSBHAPG's placement directors. Families do not browse, select, or request specific individuals. The placement determination reflects our institutional judgment — informed by clinical standards, developmental science, and the proprietary evaluation data gathered through the household assessment process.

05

CONTINUITY-OF-CARE PLANNING

Every placement is structured around continuity of care. HSBHAPG monitors active placements for ongoing household alignment, developmental support efficacy, and professional compliance — initiating structured reassessment and curated re-placement processes whenever household needs evolve.

MANDATORY PLACEMENT GATE · HSBHAPG IN-PERSON PRE-PLACEMENT PRACTICUM™

No Practicum. No Placement.

Before an au pair is placed with a family, her caregiving is observed in person through the HSBHAPG In-Person Pre-Placement Practicum™ — under authorized supervision, and always with the child's safety and welfare taking priority. An au pair who has not passed the practicum is never placed with a family. No exceptions.

Practicum completion is a mandatory verified step toward placement — never, by itself, a guarantee of placement.

FAMILY INTAKE GUIDANCE

Understanding the Placement Model

Why does HSBHAPG determine the placement rather than the family?

HSBHAPG is a private placement institution, not a caregiver directory or marketplace. Families engage our proprietary expertise and evaluation methodology. Our placement directors are trained to identify subtle compatibility factors — developmental alignment, trauma-responsive fit, household culture integration, and behavioral support competency — that families are not positioned to evaluate independently. This authority protects the wellbeing of the children placed in our care and maintains the institutional integrity of every placement.

What does the household assessment evaluate?

Our household suitability review examines communication dynamics, caregiving philosophy, cultural and lifestyle context, the developmental and behavioral profiles of each child, safety considerations, emergency preparedness expectations, and the emotional environment of the home. This comprehensive picture enables HSBHAPG to determine which professional from our active roster carries the deepest compatibility with your household's specific profile.

Can families provide preferences or input?

Families are encouraged to share relevant household context, care philosophy, language considerations, scheduling structure, and any specialized developmental or behavioral needs during the assessment process. This information informs our compatibility evaluation. However, final placement determinations are made exclusively by HSBHAPG's placement directors in accordance with our proprietary methodology and institutional standards.

What is continuity-of-care placement?

Continuity-of-care placement means that HSBHAPG designs each placement with the long-term stability of the child's developmental and emotional environment in mind. We do not issue transactional or convenience-based placements. Every recommendation is intended to create a sustainable, nurturing, and behaviorally-supportive household relationship — one that supports the child's growth over time.

PLACEMENT AUTHORITY & AGREEMENT FRAMEWORK

By engaging HSBHAPG's placement services, Member Families acknowledge and agree that all placement determinations — including the identity, background, specializations, and household assignment of any support professional — are made exclusively by HSBHAPG in accordance with its proprietary Compatibility-Based Placement Methodology.

HSBHAPG reserves the sole right to evaluate, recommend, transition, and reassign any support professional based on its ongoing assessment of household suitability, developmental continuity needs, behavioral-health standards compliance, and institutional placement criteria.

Member Families engage HSBHAPG for its specialized placement expertise and curated judgment. The organization's placement authority exists to protect the best interests of the children served, the integrity of care environments, and the long-term wellbeing of all household members.

Formal placement agreement terms are disclosed in full during the Consortium onboarding process. Nothing herein constitutes a legally binding agreement. All services are subject to HSBHAPG's full Consortium and Placement Services Agreement.

SAFEHAVEN VERIFICATION™

Every family completes SafeHaven Verification™ before au pair introduction and placement activation. This requirement applies regardless of consortium tier.
