The exact timing varies with family circumstances, candidate availability, screening, documentation, travel, jurisdiction, specialized care requirements, and placement complexity. Timelines are shared with care, never promised.
THE FINAL REVIEW
As a permanent placement approaches its final stage, HSBHAPG conducts a mandatory Placement Inspection. Ordinarily scheduled approximately two weeks before arrival, this final review helps ensure that the practical placement environment has been appropriately prepared before an Au Pair enters the home.
